Between
The Horns

So what were the athletic directors of the two largest
universities in West Virginia talking about? Maybe the fact that
the fluke of a game last week drew 12,000+ to the Civic Center?
The WV Legistlature should keep their fingers out of the athletic
departments' mashed taters and let them get this football game on.
Nuff said.
Oh - - but there's more. Maybe they were talking about Mr. Turnstalle.
Yeah, we all know that it's not official until February 6. But we
also know that WVU pulled this young man's scholarship. WVU made
a stupid mistake this time around. WVU treated this young man poorly.
You don't offer something and then say nope can't have it just because
your precious time does not allow. Enter the Herd.
Hey, Morgantown - we agree to come up and play at your house -
nevermind... just kidding. HOW'S IT FEEL?! That's what I thought.
Now on the topic of recruiting, the Herald Dispatch reports that
7 players have verbally committed including one Jimmy Skinner of
Chillecothe, OH. I haven't looked at this kid's stats - but what
I do know is the the Chillecothe / Waverly area has been learning
center for QB's. I recall one young man being scouted (only to ruin
it with a DUI at age 18) by OSU, Michigan, and Notre Dame a few
years back. They have some really decent coaching up in that area
of Ohio.
I HERD that we are going to install surveillance cameras over every
fire alarm in the Cam Henderson Center and Marshall Stadium. What
a nightmare - I must have been dreaming I was in Morgantown, that's
what I'm supposed to do as a Herd Fan right? I got a little more
between the horns than that.
Go Herd
