Rumor:
Aug 15, 2001 - No Star(ling). From what I'm hearing form several
sources is that Starling didn't make the grade. I hope my sources
are wrong (for once). But on the good side, if you can't make the
grade in a JUCO... how are you going to remember the plays and react
to new defenses?

It woudlnt surprise me
to never see Starling in the Green and White. Every year Marshall lands
some hot shot recruit and we never hear anything from them (i e Elmer
Holmes and others but Ive forgotten their names) I know we will survive
without him. I have confidence in the guys that are on the team now and
I say they just need a chance to play. Along these same lines I remember
a couple of transfers that were supposed to start playing this year. One
from WVU and another from Virginia. Does anyone know if they are on the
team?.
