Rumor: December 28, 2004 - Pruett
on Retirement.  Athletic
director Bob Marcum, has told me Pruett is staying around, and
will continue to coach until he doesn?t enjoy it anymore. I bring
that up because rumors of Pruett?s impending retirement refuse
to die. During my trip home, such talk erupted in the back of
the 757 landing in Atlanta. A couple of fans said they were told
that Pruett has coached his last game. The source cited is one
who automatically grabs my attention. I won't take it as
gospel, but it would be useful for Marshall officials to put
